    It’s incredible to imagine the sort of engineering that has to go into these devices, the speed of the components and the stresses they must undergo. We simple laymen just don’t appreciate how impressive it really all is.

  2. DeeWee, in motordirve the mirror returns after everyshot so the camera can continue AF tracking.

  3. At some point, an electronic shutter will replace the mechanical one. That by itself doesn’t address the mirror bounce, though.

  4. Anonymous7 understands why Anonymous6 likes Anonymous5, such that Anonymous7 is under the assumption that Anonymous7 and Anonymous6 both have the same feelings towards Anonymous5.
