I almost ran over this 10 cm small adder (vipera berus) with my bike on the way to the ponds. No wonder, it went into a threatening posture.
Edit: a friend of mine pointed out to me that "my" specimen is also known as a "copper adder" due to its reddish colouration. Just naming.
So please, be careful about these little creatures.
First one, I misaligned the focus a bit. My R6m2 is off for cleaning. I had to get used to the 200D AF again ;)

Spent a couple days in Fortuna Costa Rica armed with the R6 MII the RF 100-400mm, my 90D with the Sigma 18-300mm and the EF 35mm macro. To say that I was challenges with light in the rain forest would be an understatement, thankfully Topaz took care of the noise.
